The minister of Sports And Youth, Dr. Ahmad Fatfat, met with a group of members from the Lebanese Soccer Federation. The federation gave him a full report of the national team's preparation for participating in the Western Asian cup, organized by the Lebanese Soccer Federation. The federation asked to form a committee that will be lead by Dr. Fatfat, and organized by the federation and the ministry for the tournament. The federation would also like Dr. Fatfat to ask the government for their support, organizing the tournament and creating a well prepared team.

On the other hand, Dr. Fatfat agreed to support the federation by accepting to be its leader, promising to do his best to convince the government to support the federation.
